[If You are Qualified, then you are overqualified.]
This is what I tell myself every time I seek an opportunity. For every room I step into, my presence must serve a purpose to take up space, or else the space would have been better suited for someone else. I seek spaces that will serve me with growth, so I need to apply elsewhere if I am qualified. What does living life on repeat and taking up a position I have all the skillset for do for me? It does not serve my future trajectory. It does not fulfill my highest potential or challenge me to become better.
& anyone or any situation that does not inspire me to be better is not good enough to borrow my presence.
So apply for that job you want but are hesitant about because you don't have all the skillsets yet.
Create that YouTube channel,
and build that blog!
You only gain real-life skills by doing it.
If you want it enough, you will inevitably rise to meet the standards. . ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁
