Before there was the sun and the moon, the cosmos made you and I.
Our chemistry was intentionally so intense
Every point of contact caused a tremendous ripple in space.
Our love was the Big Bang; we birthed galaxies, stars, planets, and life.
Our resentments created supernovas and black holes
that slowly ate away at everything we’d ever made.
They never go away...
& That is our karma.
We are each other’s karmic duty—tasked with the responsibility to, at each moment,
choose to create or destroy.
For we were cursed or blessed
to chase each other through lifetimes in different forms with the task to love, heal, create, and hopefully, outrun everything being swallowed whole.
When the universe becomes a blank page, and we are again where we began,
before the sun and the moon.
